TC124 is in ... With pics !!
« on: April 13, 2015, 06:21:57 PM »

Finally got my bike back from the Indy at the weekend ...
Had a S&S 124lc fitted, with a Mikuni carb conversion,
Obviously its got to be run in carefully, but very impressed so far.
Its been dynoed and running really sweet. I'm loving this conversion.
Motor is real smooth even though I'm running it in gently.
also had a pair of bespoke apes fitted at the same time (copies of Carlini Gangster)
in stainless. and had the Jockey and foot cllutch removed , as I wouldve been at full stretch with the apes! .
Pics to follow , we've got shocking weather over here at the moment, so need a nice day.
Big thanks to Independant 1 for hs advice putting me right on a few things when gathering my parts.

Here's one we just finished up using the new Dyno with the latest Dynojet Power Core software. This one has some power left in it but I took it easy on it being a fresh motor. Customer is local so he's putting a few miles on and we'll spool it up again. Very nice torque curve, nonetheless. Awesome bang for the buck, real world, useable power with a warranty.

Some pics as promised ... I had apes made in stainless and these were fitted, also put my 23'' fat spoke on (I had a 21'' before)
and had the front lowered by 2'' ... I already have a Shotgun sock fitted to the rear.
The Engine is, as I said a TC124LC  with a Mikuni hsr48 carburettor conversion ...ditching the fuel injection.
I have no Dyno figures yet , but it runs beautifully.

I like that paint job  :2vrolijk_21: I don't recall seeing anything quite like it.

You must get a lot of comments about making up your mind what color bike you want.

Very inventive! If someone described the color combo to me, I'd wonder about it...but to see it, it looks great!

Nice figures ..is that for a low compression motor ?.. my Indy said he wasnt caning it for any serious figures till it was run in! lol
