Looks like Yaffe's Stealth 3 is the only game in town, that I can find ?
Concern I have is displaying the Plate sticker & staying legal here in Illinois
Any other choices out there ??

Check this link, there using the Harley Davidson Curved Frame and modifying it to fit, Harley offers a chrome and black frames

The Stealth III is the cleanest looking frame for the CVO.  I have used on on four bikes now.  I am try to place the stickers so they can still be read.  I have yet to have an issue and I ride all over the country.

Kuryakyn makes a couple of options in chrome that include a square curved plate. I e-mailed them and they have no plan to make it in black which sucks. I've been thinking about getting it and powder coating it black myself.

I don't like the oval, besides the fact it covers the sticker which is illegal in most states. Even those who claim it hasn't been an issue just need to know it is enough reason to stop someone which I prefer to avoid adding reasons to stop me

I got the kuryakin and had it painted black and love it. For my 2015 SESG. I don't have a pic but i also didn't like the round face of the jaffee.

My SERK, I know its not black but the same frame.  Decals are visible.  I have been coast to coast with these frames, many bike rally's and never and issue.  This is the only one that shows clearly you can read the tag number on the decal which is a requirement in TN.  On all four bikes I have used this frame I make sure the decals are positioned so it can be read.

They can be a pain.  Helps if your hands are not real big.  Stock unbolts on the back side of fender between it and the tire.  Then you have to carefully drill out the threaded holes in fender bracket.  Instructions say to remove it then drill it.   I just leave it in place and carefully drill it.  The hard part is the two bolts that go through fender from back.  You have to get them started in the plate frame with out scratching the fender.  I hold the frame up to fender  to see where it sits.  I remove the frame and then put blue painters tape on the fender loosely where the frame edges could contact fender.  Once both bolts are started I remove the tape before tightening.
