Security FOB
« on: September 10, 2017, 03:57:55 PM »

I need to add a 2nd security FOB for my 2013 CVO. I can buy one on eBay or get one from the dealer, but i cant find info on how to assign it to my bike. The video on the fix my hog web site says to do the process and then push a button on the FOB. The FOB had no buttons. Do I have to take it to the dealer to get it assigned?

yep, dealer has to marry it to your bike with the digital tech.  when you take it in to have it done, make sure that you have your other fob with you.  and you can only have a max of 2 fobs assigned to your bike at any one time.

the 'push a button' thing was probably for the 2006 and earlier fobs that did have buttons.

Hmm, new fob, asking if bike has to physically be at dealer....sounds like ex wife got bike in divorce and you want to "borrow" it back. Lol
