SE Lifters. 117 kit
« on: November 10, 2017, 05:54:04 PM »

Part number 18572-13. Comes in 117 kit.
Assuming better than the stock 110 lifter?
Also better than the SE lifter from the 88 to 95 build era? (Which sucked )
Got a set of Feuling HP+lifters on the shelf but these came in the kit. Thanks

If I were you I would use something besides the HD lifter. I used the S&S premiums when putting the 117 together. Investing to much money in the kit and build to install a part that has a very questionable history.

Those are stock on the CVO110 model year 13up. They fail.
I suggest using Topline Hylift with axle oiling, the slow bleed version.

Didn't know they were the stock 110 problem lifter. Wow.

That part number is the lifter Harley released for production in 2013 for the 2013 to 2016 CVO110 engines, so it is the stock 110 lifter for those model years.  The difference is the higher capacity bearings for the roller.  The rest of the lifter appears to be regular "C" lifter parts, as best I can tell.

The previous #18572-07 SE is a much better lifter IMHO.

What is the Topline Hylift c/w Axle Oiling part number for 2008 SE 110?

Thanks,!

Neither Harley, S&S, Woods, Feuling, or any private branded motorcycle parts company, make their own lifters. Some are Hylift, some are Morel or others. Buy the premium stuff from Hylift or Morel and save the markup. Positive axle oiling and slow bleed down are the most important issues IMHO.   TIMINATOR

Topline is the only manufacturer other than Gaterman that provides oiling to the axle as  far as I know.

I respectfully suggest if you want to use HyLift, that you get them from AMS in Ft Worth.   AMS HyLift, same part numbers.

My HyLifts were faulty on a new build last month, had  to redo them with s&S premiums.

Would you put ChenChin tires on your CVO?

Are you saying they are made in China? I thought they were US made?

I was referencing price, not country of origin.
