T-man 600 cam in 117 Harley Kit
« on: November 14, 2017, 12:23:34 PM »

My current direction
2014 CVO Limited
Harley 117 kit and staying with the flat top piston
Hoping for a zero deck and Cometic gasket .030 for 10:1.

Messaged Tman and was recommended their 600 cam. Says it will work as bolt in for stock cvo head but I forgot to ask if I need adjustable push rods or if stock would work (or the .030 over which come in kit). Rather have solid, just a preference.

Might even have the heads touched but not sure what direction there...

Anyone know about push rods or run a similar build?

You might check T-mans, website and see it is listed as to needing adjustable or stock. Running adjustable myself but one piece can be purchased to fit your needs. Running the 24D cams in my 117 but the 600s were something I have looked at also. Sure like to see your results with the 600

I will call them, just seeing if anyone else got it.  Build will take a bit. Winter project. Can't really dyno till March or April in Pittsburgh.  Snow and want a break in

We did this one with a TMan 625: 15FLH Water Cooled, SE 117 barrels and pistons, Fullsac DX, 1.75" Cores, stock heads. You will need adjustable pushrods.
