Bearings - ceramic vs steel
« on: April 03, 2018, 08:25:17 PM »

:nixweiss:  Is there any difference that is noticeable between stock steel bearings and ceramic?  Does one last longer than the other?  What are advantages to changing to ceramic?

I Have not yet tried them on HDs yet, but I did had them in the wheels of my ZX-14 and you can(well I could) feel a difference in rolling resistance.

What is the difference that you say you noticed?  More resistance, less resistance.....can you elaborate please?

Less resistance. Bike noticeably easier to move. They’re also supposed to be more durable as well.
