Question for Boom Audio expert
« on: July 30, 2023, 06:39:34 PM »

Hey everyone .....  bike is 2014 cvo limited.

Stock amplifier lost right front channel.  Verified radio was putting out signal.  Was able to aquire a used, known good, Boom Audio amplifier.  All 4 channels work now however, volume is very low (like the radio doesn't know the Amp is there).

Question is ....  do I need to have the digital technician connected for it to see, utilize, the replacement Amp ?

Much appreciated !

I had a funny feeling it needed to go to the dealer for the digital technician.  It's a shame how Harley "bricks" all of their electronics.

Thanks Chris !

Not just Harley.  Most, if not all newer vehicles are the same when it comes to changing modules.
