That's sweet Roger. If I die and come back as a drug dealer's cash stash I'll look you up

:ROFLOL:

Since I know you like to go fast, when they launched the Turbo in Spain this past year I managed a lap with a factory driver on the 4.5 mile test track with 42 degree banking.

We only got it up to an indicated 193 mph, must have been a bit of a head wind.

So I'll be looking for you if and when the day ever comes.

They're test driving the new line of Mercedes AMG's in Fontana on Monday (5/14) My best buddy growing up is sales manager for a dealer in Maine and he's coming out for a couple days. I'd love to try an AMG version of that 12 cylinder high end Mercedes. ( don't know the model designation since it might as well be Pam Anderson )

That would be fun, anytime you can drive the pizz out of someones test car at the track it's a good thing :2vrolijk_21:

If I were to purchase the real deal in a exotic it would probably be a Lambo Murcielago. Sweet for sure and if money was no object an Enzo.  Only a lottery ticket away. Oh and Rog my dad has a Boxster at home and he wants to trade up to a Cayman what can you do for me?  ;) Later,Q

Just caught this thread, Q...very nice work!!  I have a few I built when I got back into that a few years ago, but a couple of them are losing parts when handled because of the glue getting old, I suppose.  I really enjoy working on the models, but never had the airbrush, so had to do the best I could with the spray paint and Testors.  Very relaxing...used to take one to the beach when I'd be there for a week, and work on it during the hot part of the day...usually had it done by the end of the week.  Looking forward to seeing the Enzo completed this winter...

Q,
That is nice you need to show more of your collection. :2vrolijk_21: Brings back memories of my younger years. I can remember as a kid getting allowance and all my friends and I would go downtown and get models on Saturday.

Money's no object, it'd be an Astin Martin. Remember this is SoCal, the BevHills teenagers drive Ferrari's and Lambo's. I saw a brand new 07 Astin Martin a month back cruisin the PCH in the OC. Guy my age, had the Pam Anderson look-alike trophy girl in the passenger seat. Who says money can't buy happiness ? If that guy had looked any happier, the cops would've pulled him over for smokin weed.  :D
