Good luck Dave. Hope they get you fixed soon. I'm waiting on the outcome on mine. Have a good trip I'll let you know how I sure hoped they had figured things out on these 110's after all the issues in 07 but I guess they didn't take it as seriously as us.

Sorry to hear about the 07 problems carrying over to 08 problems...I hope they resolve it quickly. I have to agree you may want to just tell them to give you a whole new bike since the paint is all ready an issue. Best of luck, and let us know what the cause is!

Small piece of metal shaving in the oil pump broke the gear.  Tore it down to see how bad and HD overnighted the parts.  Seems to run good.  Heading out on a road trip to Seattle will see how she runs.

Sorry about the problem and I hope the bike is touble-free for a long long while now.

I picked mine up last Saturday (08 SEUC - Canyon Copper & Silver).  So far I am very impressed (lots of power!!).  We just got back from going out to eat (about a 60 mile ride).  I now have a little over 300 miles and all is well.

Have a good time on your Seattle trip.
