10500 miles, engine has performed flawlessly, only oil ever detected is derived from Doherty PowerVents.

13k+ now, first spotted oil leak around 10k, had replacement gaskets twice on rear cylinder.

obviously not an isolated problem.

I've only had it for 7 weeks, and 1600 miles, no leak yet, but the valve train sure is noisy.  Guess I'll see what happens . . .

Noticed minor rear head gasket leak at 5000 miles, 8500 now.  Bike is five months old. Waiting until this winter to get the thing fixed, because I'm planning to have the heads & cylinders Diamond Cut, and I can save some serious jack on labor.  No other issues to  date.

I'm trying to compile some statistics on what percentage of 110 owners are having problems, correlated with the number of miles on the motor.

So, if you are a 110 inch owner, please respond only once with only this information.

Miles on the bike
Have you had a cylinder oil leak problem (Yes or No)

I will compile this over the next few weeks and post the results. Thanks! keith

EDIT

3000 miles and no problems on FXDSE.

I think you should also track the type of bike and the build date.

EDIT

If you are not sure if you have a leak yet, here is a quick test. Take a white paper towel. When the bike is cool, drag it across and through the cylinder fins just below the rear cylinder exhaust flange. That's seems to be where it shows up first.

Miles on bike with an oil leak:2000.  Currently has 5400 mi with no further leaks; leak was fixed using a new barrel with the updated cometic gasket and the cometic (important) torque sequence, with Harley Tech Services approval.

Well you will have to give it some more time but I wish you well. All of the gaskets are cometic. Some have said they are not but I've seen them and the are. I had mine done first at 11k miles, now at 32k miles. My latest mech did mention that he felt they were not assembled and/or torqued correctly. He's replacing everything on the top end, cylinders, heads, pistons.... etc. Says the heat could have damaged all of it.

Good news today was my crank runout was only 4 mil. So he will be installing gear drive cams.

For those interested, my cam tensioner shoes were worn about 50% at 32 k miles.

That is new news....very interesting, with the new tensioners!!  Glad to hear that your dealer is taking good care of you, and checking/replacing things as he sees fit...excellent news for you!!
