What did you ride before?

I started out in a Goldwing family, but had to rebel alittle with a sport bike.

Always suprise me that Goldwing riders think that they are the fastest bikes on the road. I have always hated bursting their bubbles.

Physics' says Goldwing = slow.... it is just a size thing..... I don't think that they will ever get it....

Cheers

1st bike was a '78 Honda CB750K that I bought in '83.  Traded that in '85 for an '82 GL1100 Goldwing Interstate.  I got the HD bug BAG after renting them on vacation a couple times.

Hi all. Been lurking on the forum for a month or so, a lot of great information out there. Made it all the easier to finally buy a Harley.

Don't own it yet, but have a deposit on a Screaming Nemo flhtcuse3.

Been riding products of Japan for over 10 years.

So can I use the line that I am helping out the economy by buying HD.

Cheers for now
Nuke
I rode two Suzuki's before switching.  No one made me ride around with a bag over my head, but the expectation that I'd come over was definitely there.  Sooner or later, we all seem to fall for that mystique that is the Harley-Davidson ownership.  Congratulations, and when you jumped, you jumped all the way into the deep end.  Welcome and enjoy.

Welcome from the Great Pacific North West Nuke,
I was metric for 20+years and +20K miles-then I bought an Indian to live the dream. Turned to a nightmare and 11 months later got my first H-D CVO in May '03. Now I got the SE Ultra-you'll never look back!
