Best price for Progressive IAS
« on: November 05, 2008, 07:52:21 AM »

I am hunting around for 440 IAS rears and the best price I have found so far is $475 for P/N 440-4020C.
Does anyone have a better source?  Thanks

Some may not believe how good Jim (hd-dude) is to his customers but to that all I can say is give him a try.
Best customer service in the business as far as I'm concerned.
Glad you asked, and very glad to give the answer.
Call or PM him and you will see.

I have heard great thing about Jim (hd-dude).

The only problem is live in Calgary, occasionally leave my bike in Phoenix, even getting to California for any kind of work and waiting is not an easy thing for me.

Also, most of the upgrades I thought I needed have been done already.

Oops, just thought of some more work, am noticing a "ticking" at 2900 rpms which I never had before. Seemed like it started to tick after I changed oil from Mobil V Twin to Amsoil, now changed to Dino HD 20/50, so far still ticks, checking lifters next. Maybe if get over to California may look Jim up and leave bike there and fly home from there, wherever there is lol.

Geezer

This thread was about where to find the 440 shocks.

Jim can sell them and ship them anywhere.

He ships me stuff here 3000 miles away all the time.

As far as installation those people on the west coast don't know how lucky they are to have someone of his caliber.

Good luck in your quest.

Please send me the phone number on this dealer to order the Progressive 440's. Does this really improve ride over stock air suspension?

Yes!!  Almost anything is an improvement over the stock rear shocks.
