zippers or whos cam?
« on: December 10, 2008, 11:01:40 AM »

got my 07 se ultra scheduled for the recall head swap and the service manager was pushing to upgrade to a zippers 575 cam when I bring the bike in.  If you have this cam or information on what cam you added to your 110 for a little extra boost, I would appreciate your input.   Oh, currently stock with 'big sucker' intake, power commander fuel management and True Duels.   thanks

me and the boys Myrtle beach 08, SBB, thats right!!

OldHarleyGuy,

Ron (Rhino) a good friend of mine who no longer participates on the forum had this in his 07 110.   The bike ran pretty good with just the cam upgrade and a SE 50mm throttlebody and air breather.   Ron had put on an open air breather stage1 with Zippers filter, Zippers 575, Rinehart True Dual Exhaust, and Thundermax.   If you were to ask him for simple bolt in he would recommend it.

I like really short cams if the stock throttle body is used...wood 5, se204, andrews 26...it ain't gonna pull to high rpms anyway, so why not have your power start at 2300????...if you really want power from 2300 up, lose the true duals...don't mean to be rude, but it's a fact
