I recently installed a premium oil cooler on my RoadGlide along with the Chrome cover. I have lowers and felt I needed something to help cool the oil.  Seems to work well and fits nicely, and looks good. The unit has a replacement oil filter housing with short right angle hoses to cooler.  Only kicks in when the oil gets really warm.

I recently heard that there has been a recall of coolers by Harley. Does anyone know anything about this?

The recall was for a kit made prior to 2003,  and involved a cooler that had an adapter that screwed on to the filter mount and then the filter screwed on to the adapter.  The cooler was changed in 03 on the cvo road king.  All though I seem to remember a recall on the hoses on the 03 cvo road king as well.
