Birthday on a Wednesday. That's just wrong. I wrote a letter to my Congressman several years ago asking to get the Monday Holiday Bill amended to include my birthday. Never heard a damn thing.

Thanks everyone. Appreciate all the good words very much. It's been a good birthday so far. About 3:00 this morning I went do the Waffle House. The 3:00 AM crowd that shows there is always fun to watch. Teased a couple of tweaking rednecks, flirted with a waitress, had a decent omelet. Then about 4:30 called the school teacher and reminded her that a little special icchi icchi cha cha on a guy's birthday morning shouldn't be out of the question. Oh my goodness the language....

Hope she does not use that mouth in front of the 8th graders.

Some just aren't morning people.......

Got an email from a dear dear friend's 8 year that read:

Happy Birthday to you
Happy Birthday to you
You have stinkie armpits
And you love in a zoo.

The birthday present this evening will be a 2000 model electrical and diagnostics manual that someone miraculously found on eBay without my knowing about it after I sent them the link to it after they said "what do you want." So that'll be good.

Just completed my one birthday day responsibility. Long John Silvers for lunch with my niece at her kindergarten. With Hostess cupcakes with one pink candle and one blue. She asked if I could have my birthday lunch with her at school. The school allows that kind of thing. So I had lunch with five and six year olds. It's fitting because they are my peer group (kind of like here actually

) .

Not wanting to be too worried about details or shades of gray I figured I could just add options one, three and five together. So long as those stay above the others it would seem I can argue that the world is on my side. That should mean something. Shouldn't it
