H-D's 113ci
« on: September 25, 2005, 02:28:09 PM »

I've been reading through alot of knowledge and experience here on this site about the 103 upgrades.   My dealer showed me where H-D has a new 113 ci package.  Why should I upgrade to a 103 when I can go to the 113? Do you think that the extra 10ci is that much better?  If I do similar head and valve train work, would I have more horsepower and torque?   Rather than buy the Jims motor, I would like to keep the bike "all" Harley.  How often do you need to rebuild a high performance engine like this? Do you think that I am entering a reliability nightmare?  Anyone have experienced advice?
Thanks.

Hog, be sure to check out this thread where this upgrade is being discussed.  (Perhaps it should be moved here to the TC section?)
