Adjustable Tour Pak ?

If you look under the tour pak you will see another set of holes that will move it what looks like an inch. It isn't a quick relocate but it is adjustable.

That's what existed on the 05 and earlier also.  Actually as far back as I've ever messed with them there's been two sets of holes.  Note that you won't see the spare holes from the top.  Use the same holes up there.  Move forward or back through different lower mounting holes.  Illustrated here (easier to do with detachables):

The only problem with a detachable on the 06 is the radio amp is locted under the tour pak with loads of wires.

Thanks to all. I'm going in for the 1k this Friday and we'll give this a try.  Momma likes the Road Zepp - she's tiny too- but still wants to be a bit further back from my back rest.

I haven't tried to move the Tour Pak as putting on the HD Billet License Plate - 60060-04
Was a huge Pain in the b..t. The stereo amp sets right in front of the top threads of bolts that bolt on the license plate bracket. After struggling and a few curse words well lets just say it's on. Now if I move to a different State I may have the HD Tech put the next Plate on. GRRRRR I am not a good mechanic
