Rear Brake Rotor / Shimmy
« on: February 14, 2009, 08:37:21 AM »

I have 2,500 miles on the SERG, and starting to notice a shimmy when applying the rear brake. No viberation / shimmy while applying the front brake. I'm thinking it may be a warped rear rotor? Anyone else having this problem yet??

sounds like a warped rotor, wheel bearing or loose axle.     axil

If it only shimy's upon braking, the issue is most likely the rotor.  Raise up the rear wheel and rotate.  If the brake grabs excessively during part of the rotation, the rotor is warped.  Should be a warranty issue.
