While my Zumo was being repaired at Garim I used the NAV system on my 07 SEUC. Well it ate my navigation CD and would not spit it out. Dealer replaced radio under warranty and all is good except! After install of the new radio now when I use the PTT on the CB I now hear myself in the headset speakers. No an issue but I prefer not to hear myself. Is there anyway to shut the ears down on PTT? Checked the books and all software is up to date.

That's the way mine works too.  Always has so it isn't a system problem.  I found out by accident that you can turn off the sound to your ears by turning on the intercom and turning the volume all the way down.  You won't be able to hear the intercom if you're using it that way so it's more of a workaround than a fix.

yep, the comm volume is up and can be turned down or off. thats a feature that lets you Sing a long with the music

I'm happy to assist!  I'm in Bakersfield.  I'm looking to get out of CA all together!
