i bet that 103 in stock form, with it's 91 hp, has more hp than a 110 in it's stock form , has anyone dyno'ed a 110 before ANY mods have been done :pineapple:

my 07 had 87.5 hp and 102 tq.  seems the new bikes make a lot less for some reason especially the hp. then the exhaust change and aircleaner upgrade and a tune they are equal.

My stock 103 showed about 67 HP at 2000 miles.
Before any changes.

Stock 110 showed about 83 HP
Before changes.

Different days, different weather conditions.

These new bikes will really wake up with a good tune, good breathing, and maybe just a cam change.
Easy and relatively inexpensive.

No replacement for displacement....torque figure differential is significant.  My 110" is making 110 ft-lb at rear wheel.  Moreover, at 2000 RPM, she jumps up on the torque plateau.

Laylonlor,

A stock 103 does not make more HP than a stock 110.  Re-read the original post. The 91HP was the "Before Tune" dyno run with headwork, increased compression, Andrews cam, and exhaust mods already installed.

Just received the results for a tune and then Dyno on my 2010 ULTRA Limited 103". Tune and Dyno done by Bill Cook Desert Custom Cycles, Phoenix.

Before Tune with Mods only no tuning, HP 91.41, TQ 94.16

After Tune HP 99.43, TQ 104.81
See attached Dyno Sheet

Mods;  Heads
Mild Street Port by SBC (Short Block Charlie) Phoenix
Change Intake Valve to 1.90
New Guides
Cometic .30 Gasket

Cams; Andrews 54H

Exhaust
Stock Header Pipe CAT removed (Fullsac)
Slip Ons SuperTrapp Fatshotz

Compression 10:1

I do not know what stock HP and TQ is for the 103", however I think the new results are OK. Will ride the bike in Phoenix.

Tried attaching Dyno Sheet, however got prompt. file to big. If someone can tell me hot to reduce, or I can email and someone may be able to reduce and attach for me.

Thanks,

geezerglide

Hey Leo!

Heres a dyno chart from Hogmikes 2010 103 Limited. Stock and with a simple stage I tune up.

94 HP and 103 TQ for a port job and a set of cams is big increase over stage I!

Not completly stock, both had slip ons, both sae, '09 FLTRSE3 86 /106.  '07 FLHTCU 92 /108. Only difference was the throttle cables on the '07.

Yes, I had my 110" dynoed before Stage I and after, my Stage I was HD SE filter, SERT, Rinehart TDs.
Before:
Torque = 98.2
HP = 81.8

After:
Torque = 109.1

Hey Steve:

Does Mike Scotts 103 Litd retain the stock header?  And was the cat removed?  If a diff header, whose header pipe?

yes
yes
no
other than that, the bike was stock with the exception of a SE air cleaner and SE mufflers that I had from another bike, and about 2000 miles on it when we did the tests.
