Y adapter for SERG
« on: December 27, 2009, 11:37:37 AM »

I added a com system to my SERG. Does anyone know who makes a 2 into 1, 7 pin adapter. My wife sometimes rides but I don't want to put a tour pack on right now. I want an adapter to plug into the tank console a work for 2 headsets.

No one makes one of those because you can't plug two headsets into one same input. You also will need the passenger audio controls.

HD includes installation instructions (which have a parts breakdown for the kit) on their website in the P&A catalog.  Take a look at the BAMI kit, p/n 77108-09, and see what you need.  I installed the kit and it includes a passenger headset connection and PTT/Vol. switch.  The kit doesn't include a Mode/Sel switch, but she doesn't need that for you to converse.
