In real life the guy just had a full hip replacement.  Was shooting their past "season" prior to getting the work done.  Reportedly in some major discomfort.  Maybe give the guy some credit for still being on the job.

Never got into the Sopranos and most likely missed something good, but it sounds like I'm glad I missed this season.

Wasn't aware of that...my statement was nothing personal about his own well being...just thought it was all part of the character/acting role.

Hey Dude,
From the tone of this thread, I'd say that's a good thing  ;D

By the way, you walk like a penguin BEFORE the replacement surgery not after. Been there, done that got a huge scar down my right hip as a memento

Thu May 4, 9:16 PM ET
NEW YORK - "Sopranos" actor
James Gandolfini took a tumble after his motor scooter collided with a taxi, but was said to be unhurt.

"James Gandolfini is fine, and his scooter is in the repair shop," HBO spokeswoman Angela Tarantino said Thursday.

Gandolfini, who plays mob boss Tony Soprano on the hit HBO series, was motoring along a street in lower Manhattan Wednesday when the accident happened.

Gandolfini left the scene in another taxi and arranged for his crippled Italian scooter to be picked up to be fixed.

...no mention of whether he was wearing a helmet & leathers.

OK, another BIKER-unfriendly episode this week...what is up with the writers...did they get beat up in a Biker Bar or something?

This week, two VIPERS were stealing fine wine, when Tony and Christopher spotted them...and decided to steal the wine from the bikers.
