New exhaust "note"
« on: May 06, 2006, 06:00:42 PM »

Okay, the new Bub Rinehart 2-1 system for FL's is out and I'm wondering if anybody here is thinking about trying them out, or may have them already? The link is http://bub.com/Motorcycles/Harley/FL/R5-2395/R5-2395.html. I'm guessing that the system is rated for up to 103 inch twin cams like the D&D Fatcats with big-bore baffles. I'd like to see Zipper's Performance test them out and provide a map for them, and I'd like to find out how they handle engines over 103". The certainly sound great from the byte on the site.

If my memory serves me correctly Hubbard called Gerald Rinehart and Gerald said this exhaust was really designed for CAM 88 motors and not 103 motors.

Ok I did some searching and found it, see below

Here is the link that I was speaking on about the Rinehart 2 into 1 and Hubbard talking with Gerald Rinehart
Gerald did tell Hubbard that a Rinehart 2 into 1 would be available in August 06 for 103" motors and larger
