New Toy

Bought it on e-bay Tuesday night...am picking it up Saturday AM.  If I knew how to post a photo, I would include it here, but for the life of me, I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.  Anyway, here's the lowdown:

RED '05 DUCATI MULTISTRADA 1000DS...92HP @8k; 68 FP @5k; 6 SPEED; 432 LBS.

It ain't a Harley, but I've wanted a Duck for a long time....it is, after all, a twin, though it's an L.  Test rode one last Saturday, then found this one...had to have it.  Got a deal on it too....2500 miles.  The link is for an '06, but they haven't changed anything from the '05 model. So, after next weekend when I pick up my Ultra, I will officially be a two bike household.

Nice.  I used to want a Monster, myself.  Now I'd like to have this:

Yea...those are nice ones too...saw one of those up on e-bay when I was bidding on mine. They wanted a few bucks for it though.

The MST is a little more comfortable with regards to the riding position...higher/wider bars, and not as far back on the foot controls.  With the wider bars, you can really flick this thing into a curve, and this engine pulls hard from 2500 up...torquey....bought it to commute every day (mostly)   [smiley=devilish.gif]
