Didn't do any deep homework.  Just a quick bit of mental addition.  If that's a turnkey job you're not getting robbed.  Go forward and be happy.

If you're military, you've obviously heard of the phrase, 'Hurry up and wait.'  We all have.   But $2,100 for the parts and work you described is a good deal.  Triple that if you're stationed in Germany.

TANK,

Who are you getting to do your motor upgrade? Is this being done locally?

Be patient. Be prepared. Sh!t seems to always happen on Harley builds.
Price sounds good with ported heads.

Try getting deployed. Bought my SERG at Bagram, had it delivered to AL, picked it up while on R&R.  Rode it 2 weeks. Now I'm back here, and the dealer picked it up yesterday do upgrade the motor.  Won't see it til June, and maybe a week if I'm lucky.

I take it you've already done the exhaust and added a race tuner?
If that price includes a good Dyno tune, that price sounds very good.
T-Manns performance shop does a similar package for $1777 which does not include labor for teardown, reassembly, or dyno tune.

It's a fair price if in the hands of a competent wrench...  A great price if it includes a tune.  If it doesn't include a tune, you'll need that also.   :2vrolijk_21:
