starting after rebuild

 hope to be able to start up next week parts be back this week what oil to use?
running it/ cycle it??? or just run it  all help would be great
 revolution performance in plymouth wi is doing the machine work for me
113  bolt on big bore jugs and pistons
 lower end Inspect, Balance, True, Weld and Plug Twin Cam cranks / tinkems bearing upgrade/ heavy connecting rods
 heads S&S Super Stock 2.0 Cylinder Heads
 Stage Two
LMR Oil Pressure Spring lmr-002 and there bybass valve/ Baisley Hi-Performance
 t-man 590 cams
adjustable push rods
fueling lifters
roller rockers  tp
zipper  Red Shift® Cam Chain Tensioners - Fits all 2007-up
  a little bling chrome inner primery
stainless steel bolt kit
 any  conments are welcome
never build a harley motor
 but i have build small block chevy and a  kick ass 409 big block
any help is great

Wash those cylinders at least 4 times in the dishwasher. Then wash them by hand and do a white glove test on them.
Set ring gap at .0045" per inch of cyl bore
Top ring  silver
2nd ring  black with small indention on top of ring... 180deg off top ring
3rd ring 90deg from 2nd ring
Deck height should be as close to 0.000" as possible...this can be achieved by decking or with gaskets.
Valve to piston clearance should be .080 intake
                                                       .100 exhaust

take your time it's only a Harley

OOPS....dino oil

3 heat cycles...complete cool down

3rd gear after running temp....full throttle and let off completely..3 times  NO CLUTCH
4th gear...full throttle and let off completely 3 times NO CLUTCH
5th gear...full throttle and let off completely  3 times NO CLUTCH

change oil

250-500 miles change oil
1000 miles change oil
2500 miles change oil
5000 miles change oil  switch to synthetic if you want
each 5000 change oil

wow  thanks for input put  acording to wiseco instrutions   you  multiply the bore 4.060x .004 = .01624  so the gap should be .016 right and said marking side up and not color  so i did .016 on top and .021./.023 bottom
 is this wrong?????
