Heads, cams and dyno tune results
« on: June 12, 2012, 12:17:06 AM »

On my 08 SG I did the BB kit with Andrews 54H cams and BigBoyz Street ported heads. 96HP 120TQ. 44MPG
Same mods on my 09 SE Fat Bob. Of course it has the 110 engine. 105HP 125TQ. 42MPG
Same mods on my 2011 SG. This time I used a .030 head gasket. 113HP 124TQ. 47MPG
I know there is more power to be had but I'm not a power freak. Just want to bump things up a bit.
Obviously I like the Andrews 54 cams and BigBoyz head work.

Do you have some dyno charts?  I'm curious to see the torque curve and what RPM the tq kicks in.

Very nice numbers!  :orange:

How is your seat-of-the-pants impression?  Is one motor any smoother/quieter than the rest?

Stay away from those radar guns.  :2vrolijk_21:

The dyno sheet for the 08 went with the bike when I sold it. I may have a copy. I'll look.
The 09Fat Bob was done almost two years ago and I do have that sheet.
The2011 was just done last week.
I'll try to post late this evening when I get home.
Interesting that you would ask about quietness. Both the 08 and 09 had a lot of noise. I always believed that it's  "Just the way it is with Harley's" Then I changed the compensator in both bikes to the new SE Compensator and that change has given me the most satisfaction of any other mods I've done, particularly on the 09.

Gary;

Very nice.  What pipes, tuner,  CC's and compression did you use?

thanks

The 09 SE Fat Bob had stock compression. Vance & Hines two into one Pro pipe. Master tuner
The 2011 SE Street Glide .030 head gasket added slight bump in compression. Power duals with Monster Rounds. HD SE tuner

That sound pretty dang cool and something I'd be very happy with.
