Big B,
It is hard for me to go into great deepth on this subject on a open net list but I can give you some ideal on what I think/know what went on on this deal.......
About four years ago, they sent us a proto bike to have a kit put on. They also bought two rear end kits in box.
I assume they went to other mfg of trikes and did the same.
For the last four years we knew nothing as to what was going on. We would talk to some of the workers who were in the the project and would only be told that it passed the testing and they had no problems with it.
Now rush up to today time and we have this press release.
So what will it all mean..........
They want into the trike market.
Looks like they do not want to build it at their factory. They want some one to build it for them.
So the one trike mfg that builds complet bike at their factory gets the call.
What are they going to build? Same bike as they have sold for the last 15 years? Some thing new in the rear end?
All that they have said at this time is "We are looking into "
The day a trike is at a dealer, has a price on it, and can be bought, is when we will know.
As for us.......life goes on, our back log is still at 25-30 units.
The customer still has six trike mfg to pick from, look at, do demo rides and pick the one they want to buy.
