Well, I pulled the Front Fork reflectors off resterday.  Then I did the Cannonball Run at Smoky Mountain.  Put 405 miles on the bike enjoying great roads of East TN and NC.  Looking Glass Falls, Highest point on the parkway, then across Smoky Mountain National park.  Great day of riding.

Now taking the bike over to have the 1K service done with a little over 1100 miles on it.

Took the wife for a little jolt and ended up in North Carolina for some good Ole North Carolina Pulled Cue' and a couple cold ones.

It's amazing how much better our bikes ride when it's not 90d degrees outside!

Monday morning, I stated out at 0400 for the Iron butt 1000 miles in 24 hours.  Stopped in Conway AR for dinner and some sleep after 1030 miles in 15 hours and 45 minutes.  Then left at 0430 to do the last 500 miles for my 1500 miles in 36 Hours.  Finished that by 1300 with 3 hours to spare. 

Washed the bike when I got home.  Have to get all the pictures and paper work together to submit for my Saddle Sore 1000 and my Butt Burner 1500.

Wow, I bet you were whupped.  I decided to do this as my wife and I have several times gone to Sturgis or back in 2 days, under 36 hours and its 1550 from where we stay to our home.   Just never documented it.  Couple of summers go went to CA with a friend.  800 the first day then two 750 days in a row.

Figured it was time to get it documented.

Went for a short 215 mile ride yesterday with a friend. Up the Cherohala Skyway, stopped at the top for a cigar, then looped over and rode the dragon back.  Nice to ride curves rather than the interstate.

Also installed custom dynamics Halo turn signals and the new Klock Werks 12" Pro-tour windshield to test.
