I hope it is only the base gasket if you have one.  You may just have an o-ring.

It's hard to tell from the photo but I hope your seam is not leaking where the case halves come together.

I think its the O-ring. And the oil ran down the seam of the cases. I hope! I cleaned it and rode it home from work and it didn't show any signs of leaking. Could it be intermittent?

If still new and only a few heat cycles, it may seal up???
