Just fixed my 2011 CVO ULTRA with fulsac DX headers, 2 inch baffles, an TTS tuner with Steve's tune. It's a winner in my opinion. It runs as cool as my 2008 ultra classic. No popping just runs great.

I had head pipes, fullsac 2" cores, PV tune, fans, and it still ran hot ('12 RGC CVO)  Not sure how folks here say that it runs cool...  Lowers will do that...yes I loved the looks and protection from the lowers and that is the reason why I lived with the heat.

I am talking about perceived heat on my leg, not measured oil or head temperature.

RK, no lowers, new bike, and I have not installed head pipes nor tuner, bike runs fine and no neat issues in my leg...

This 2014 Limited is my first bike with lowers and I told the dealer it was hot. He said it could not be with the new water cooled heads. BS it is much warmer than I moded Road King and the lowers is my greatest suspect. Getting the Fullsac pipe and tune now.
