Visited Jason the leather artist today for review of the saddlebag tops in progress. Chose colors and marveled at his talent. Will post some photos. Tops will be identical but reversed so the eagle beak faces the front. Flames will be gold, eagle will be natural color like the eagle on the Corbin driver backrest. Fill color between eagle and flames will be red like the bike. Should look extremely cool when done. Jason made some suggestions today that will amp up the bags even more. Project should be complete by Eureka Springs so they'll see immediate use!

Got some of the items I want painted done today. The Harley Davidson script items turned out great. One is on the lower belt guard and the other on the back of the bobtail rack. Can't believe how a little bit of red paint makes something jump!

That is one first-class bike. I am also amazed by the leather work. That guy is an artist.

Got a few more details done. Took someone else's advice on detailing the Screamin' Eagle text on the cylinders and added a gold box to highlight the script. Like the way it turned out.

Also had the 4 bar/shields on the wheels done in red. Adds a little rolling detail.

Custom red details on the shift side include the bar/shield on the choke knob, the red line on the fuel petcock, the red wings on the horn and the red bar/shields on the spark plug bridges. The little touches are coming together! The gold flame shift linkage turned out well and of course, the chrome inner primary reflects nicely. Can't really see it but got the braided stainless fuel crossover line put on as well. And as Spydglide pointed out - the gold braided spark plug wires were an add as well.

While TwoLane is having a 'break-down', I'll get back to the nicely done engine details.........are those plug wires gold or is that a reflection on them from all the other gold/red touches.  Nicely done, as always.  har!  spyder

Finally got a few shots of the roll bag on the bike. Back side - SE patch was sewn in prior to assembly. Buckles were originally silver. Had them golded and then painted the flames myself. Have several more for the saddlebags and front bag.
