Title: Sturgis trip fatalities
Post by: oakmtnbody on August 14, 2010, 12:28:55 PM
Interstate repairs on I29 and I90 is terrible without drunk drivers thrown in the mix.The traffic is down to one lane divided by cones and the speed limit is still 65mph and your meeting oncoming traffic including a lot of tractor trailers, half of the cones been clipped by people crossing the center line and concrete barriers on your right. These poor guys never had a chance and this guy is treated and released.http://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2010/08/11/Four-motorcyclists-killed-in-Iowa/UPI-29181281546442/

Heard of one at a campground. Dude was showing off by pulling wheelies on a metric. Fell, no helmet, no skull now.

They guy that killed four on I29 in Iowa came in at four and a half times the legal BAC limit, .373.  His lawyer said his client was sorry for having been "involved" in their deaths.
