You're right about that.Of course this isn't the standard anniversary color. The pic just won't pick up the metal flake.

Century H. D. in Medina had one on the floor for 29,950 last weekend. Sharp as hell. Copper was way better than the other on the non - CVOs. Cool.

Here's the kicker.I wasn't even looking for a new bike.I was tagging along with my buddy at the Harley shop after lunch. My current bike only had 2500 miles on it. I spotted the bike, was impressed, and the salesman said how about 1500 bucks off msrp and we'll get it down off the display stand and let you ride it.He was GOOD,cause as soon as the bike was outside in the sunlight I knew I was taking it home.No haggling.I figured that price was good enough.

$24,999.95 is the non anniversary CVO Springer. The anniversary model is about 550 bucks more.Plus since it is a lower production (1050) as opposed to the standard CVO springer of 2500, many dealers are holding out for more than msrp

Both CVO Springers are low production, in demand, and in short supply. However, the idea of paying more than msrp for any bike, car.or whatever ain't happenin' with me,I don't care how bad I want it,I wouldn't give them the satisfaction.I don't think a mfg should allow over msrp.

HMmmmmmm....................could have sworn I saw 24,999.95 on the tag (the same price I paid for my '07 SE springer), but I could be wrong.... :-\

anyways, there are three SE springer colors in '08 not two.

inferno orange, vivid black and anniversary copper :2vrolijk_21:

Just like mine, nice great and all that, but with the limitations that the European laws bring regarding emissions and noise. That's why I get those lusy cans and suction filter plus a restriction butterfly valve that ends up closing all the gas flow to the rear cylinder can, then all exhaust gases from the rear cylinder have to pass through the bypass pipe between both headers... What a load of BS we get in the old continent.

Just bought one today, # 574 of 1054,  Grand Canyon Harley, Mayer AZ, put 100 miles on it, loven' it. Two things, seat is unconfertable, and I can hardly hear it. But that is fixable.

Love the look of the Springers, and that anniversary color is one that pictures just do not do justice too.  Kinda like the 2003 CVO roadkings.  When you see them in the sun, it is mind blowing.  Congratulations to you.

It's a bad sickness, I was somewhat like you. I took my wife to the dealership to look at a stripped down StreetGlide that I liked and she hated. She spotted the springer and said that it looks more like me and went on to say I could keep my FLSTSi if I went that way instead. The salesman backed it out the door for me to hear it run, and it didn't impress me much. I sat on it and it felt very familiar to my lowrider I had. He then gave use the price out the door with what little options I wanted on it and it was a done deal. Now I have two great bike, An old school springer bagger with new technology and one of the badest customs that Harley ever built. Ain't life great, and NO you can't have my wife!  Here a picture that I took today. More to come in the future.

I'm waiting to get some miles on first but I think I will start with some Rush slip-on's. I really like the looks of Seegarsmkr 2:1 , but I like the stock look with the swing-arm covered also. I can always change pipes and run somemore tuner time .

You don't happen to have any dyno readouts with those Rhineharts do you?
A buddy had them on his 03 duece and loved them but never had it dynoed.
Anyone have any idea what pipes would give the most torque?

Those pipes look freakin awesome.I love my Big Radius, but those cross over pipes look much better that the traditional straight pipes. Those numbers do look a little low,did you have a race tuner installed? SERT or equal ?
