Title: 2008 FXDSE2, 110 Screamin’ Eagle Dyna CVO 105th Anniversary 136/1050
Post by: butch52 on March 28, 2010, 03:42:52 PM
Got my CVO last August. Wrote a little article (pdf) (http://www.butchgraphics.com/dyna/DemoRide.pdf) about it. Here is a larger photo (http://www.butchgraphics.com/dyna/fxdse2_Dyna_CVO.jpg) of it if anyone is interested. I've put bags on it since 'cause I need someplace to pack all my stuff.
Really like this board. Plan to be here more often.

Butch,  Congratulations on your new scooter.  I read your story and can totally relate to your love for your Dyna.  I owned one exactly like it, same color and all, a couple of years ago...I still find my myself looking at them on eBay.  It's one of the most fun to ride bikes I ever owned.

Welcome to the forum from Arkansas!   :2vrolijk_21:  We'll show you hundreds of ways to spend $$$ on that bike...

I guess what they say is right. It's just a down payment on the accessories.  ;D

I traded it for a SERK, then later traded for a SEUC...I still miss that Dyna.  I find myself looking at them on eBay all the time.  Right now, I have the 2010 SEUC and a 2006 SE V-Rod.

Great Ride Butch!

I am on my second one as I hit a deer on my first one!  That little sport windshield saved my life as it deflected the deer!!!!  (Search for "Deer Dyna" here on the site)

Really I am going on my third one because H-D is replacing everything wrong with my second one!!!!!!!!!  (See Chrome chipping thread in this discussion group) I just met with the H-D rep this morning and life is good!

Welcome to the site!

Tim

Here are the new bags I put on at the beginning of winter. They are fixed but can be removed easily since I made sure to keep the original bolts.
I'm thinking about another storage bag/backrest. Saw Biker's Friend Bags (http://www.bikersfriend.com/) and was wondering if anyone has them and what they thought.

Great article Butch, your story is very close to mine. After I saw my Dyna in the showroom, it was all I could think about for weeks. I took my wife by to see it and she had a similar reaction. I spent a month trying to figure a way to afford it. We finally took the plunge and I love the bike.....................
