Does anyone have a tried and true method for removing light stains from the flat aluminum finish on a 2005 SEEG 103'' ?
Despite rave reviews from some maritime Carolinians do not use spray on oven cleaner. There are "issues" when taking this approach. Issues that can not be solved by duct tape.
A product called Pig Snot does a decent job. Aerosol brake cleaner or aerosol carburetor cleaner both do a decent job for more demanding stains. Be prepared for a rinse after using and you'll not cause any problems.

S-100 won't remove it but it does lighten it a bit. As well as making some custom colored filled engraved pieces of chrome a bit light in the finish. >:(
