Touring lower belt guard cover 60491-02 for 97-03 models. Don't see a chrome sprocket cover for 03 touring models in the 03-04 catalogs. :nixweiss:

Thanks!  Saved me on this one...I already ordered the wrong one, luckily some of the stuff was back ordered so I should be able to get it changed.

Thanks,

Eric

There have been chrome pulley covers in the aftermarket.  Remember seeing both one and two piece versions occasionally.  Though the only ones I've seen were always cheap thin pieces that I'd not have put on 103's bike even when I had it for sale.

This is a chrome pulley cover below..

Was on the bike when I bought it (used) but I believe it was a MoCo part. :nixweiss:

The pulley covers are, or at least used to be, relatively common items in the Softail community.  Guess they were never too requested in the Touring world since most touring riders are too old and mangled to bend over and look at the pulley under the saddlebags.  Screw it.  Lack of a cheap ass cover just makes for a better excuse to get a better looking pulley and add stealth chrome.

Probably right... but it raises the question would one from another model bike work on a Touring bike? :nixweiss: We've run across other items that the MoCo produce that say will not work (steel braided fuel line comes to mind) on Touring models but they do. :idea2:

Dammit...I am not old yet!  Ha!  I agree totally.  (and my wife probably more than me) It is crazy to be worried about a chrome sprocket or cover when the bags cover it up...but, I know it is there!  I found a 70t chromed sprocket...got a good deal we will see what it looks like when the mail man comes.  Speaking of braided fuel line....got the part number?

This is what we have used in the past - Braided Stainless Steel EFI Fuel Line.

And regarding "stealth chrome" otherwise known as chrome/billet sprockets.... I know the feeling...

Thanks. :2vrolijk_21: You should come to a GTG (get together)... If not me there are many others that will give lessons...

And of all things he (Uncle Mikey) is showing Don (Isellbulls) the correct ways of detailing :shocked2:
