Text from a buddy of mine this morning:
So I was at the Harley dealer yesterday in PCB. Talking to one of the parts guys he wanted to bet me $100 that the new 107 would outrun my 120 to 100 mph. He says these new bikes are incredible.
He wanted me to test ride one but I didn't have time. That's the thing too he wasn't a salesman. I was asking him if crate motors would bolt into the 17's. He was like why would you. He said ride this bike you'll be shocked. He said you will want to wait for the CVO 114.
My immediate thought was that if the output numbers on a properly tuned 120R are greater than the output numbers of a stock 107 how could that statement hold any weight whatsoever???
-
Wishful thinking on his part....Let's see it happen.
:worthless:
-
Zero chance of that..

Well, I rode SG with a 107 yesterday and I'll say it's peppy but ... Ain't gona beat up on any big inch bike rite away...

The stock 107 M8 has 75 hp and 100 Tq, as can be seen in the dynos posted by Steve Cole (TTS) in his section on this forum.

You missed an opportunity to make a sure thing hundred bucks. In fact you should have bumped his bet higher and then ask to see the color of his money. Sounds like a typical Harley dealership BS con artist.

The only way a 107 would beat a 120 to a hundred is if you threw the 107 off a cliff...

Ride a new M8 then Post. They are fast. Dyno sheets don't win races.

No, but if a sheet shows that bike A has substantially more power than bike B, my money would be on bike A.
-
I doubt a 107 will beat a properly tuned 120R, with equally skilled riders.
I have a 117 making 138 HP and 140 torque on my CVO King. My 114 CVO Street glide will not beat it.
That said, the 114 feels much stronger stock than a 110 stock.

I'm thinking Mr. Fullsac has a lot of ground off mufflers on the ends. Just sayin. :huepfenlol2:

Where's the guy that says a 107 is faster to 100 that wants to wager $100 against my 150hp 120r?
