Coolant Pump
« on: May 25, 2016, 01:11:07 PM »

Just wondering, has anyone else had a coolant pump failure yet? Mine shot craps last weekend and the dealer who made the repair said it was the first one that they have seen that just stopped working. Pricey little buggers too. $400.00 just for the pump itself. Thank God for warranty. :2vrolijk_21:

I haven't had that problem.  How many miles do you have on her?

7400 miles. Just running down the road, on comes the check engine light, followed by the temp light shortly afterwards. Luckily, I was about 2 miles from a dealer!

Not sure of the exact failure, other than it wouldn't run with voltage applied to it.
