JRI Shocks for Rear 14 CVO RK
« on: February 23, 2022, 04:24:13 PM »

Have read posts that recommend Legends and Olins etc. Didn't find anyone that talked about the JRIs. Anyone have any good or bad experience and I am interested in recommendations. Ride solo, hard and often 250 to 300+ miles a day when out. Currently using Progressive 944s and are too rigid for my spine and ass.

Thanks in advance

Got a set of their 13" A or B's which ever one that is adjustable laying in the garage on a shelf. Maybe 15,000 mikes on them. They rode well till the seal failed. Talked to JRI about repairs and they were not interested in repairing them but did offer me a $100 discount on their newest, lastest and greatest shock. No thanks. Bought Ohlins

 product.

I bought a set of JRI Single Adjustable Shocks. That were 13" I didn't like the height.  JRI rebuilt them at 12". Rode them almost 1k miles then both started leaking. They repaired them and I Never reinstalled them. Saved for emergency shocks should my YSS shocks need repaired. 320mm YSS TRL shocks are Great! Over 65k miles. No issues

Did you end up buying super shox? How do you like the ride? I’m thinking of getting them also. Thanks

Got them last week. Good looking units but I've had such fabulous spring weather and haven't installed them yet. Will this week and will let you know. Also bought the Progressive front springs/cartridge fork kit.

I had JRIs on my 06 CVO Ultra. I had to send them back and get seals replaced.  Even so my wife didn’t like the ride, so I went with Ohlins. My cousin Alan put them on his bike and liked them.
