Mine is being shipped, then going to powdercoat it gloss black. Then I'm gonna drill the damn fender! It'll be well worth the look on my Black Diamond FLHXSE2.

FWIW: I recommend you dry fit it including bolting it down to the fender tightly and then going to powdercoat.

Absolutely! My neighbor ordered one also and also has a 2011 FLHXSE2 but is leaving his chrome, so I'll give him a hand with his. Then do mine.

Be sure;

1. The bike is absolutely level.
2. You have the bracket centered.
3. You have a block of wood between the tire and the fender before drilling.

Just saying........
