I used the inner fairing trim from the moco around the edge. It has the glue already on it.

i drilled NOholes and they also have one without the red bottom light as well

Just wanted to let anyone that might be thinking of installing the Paul Yaffe Stealth 3 curved license plate but are concerned about drilling to not worry. No drilling required. I just installed it on my 2010 and I did not drill my fender. The only thing I had to do is buy 2 longer bolts then the ones supplied. Took me 1 hour to install it with the bike on a jack. It looks great!! Oh yeah, I also had to trim my plate on one corner.

I'm doing the same.  only without the bottom light.

+1 doing the same as well, just ordered the 3144 & 3146. Bolt on plug and play, thats the way I like it no modifications to fit.

Finished the Yaffe plate install today...here are some pic's...got the plate assy back from the painter color matched ...Dark Slate...looks awesome in person...really finishes the back end of the bike...nice tight fit...barely any space between the plate and fender...no holes drilled...used the stock holes...looks Be-You-Tiful....

How did you cover the holes for the stock license plate light?

How did you cover the holes for the stock license plate light?

I didn't use the USLP3 plate assy. but the SLP3....drilled the holes on the yaffe backplate assy to match the holes on the rear fender...but before drilling,  located and marked the holes to drilled by centering the plate assy between the top open hole and the lower fender indentation so when installed it would not be visible...the 1/4" foam gasket that's included with Yaffe's plate did the rest....
