Or somebody at H-D made a big mistake. Cuz i got my kryptonite tour pak today and the color is awesome! i was super excited after seeing just the pak, im probly gonna freak when i get to see the bike.

I know its not the best pic, but it doesnt do it justice anyway. Its been snowing all day here so i couldnt take it out in the sun to check it out.

Otherwise i'm kinda gonna be screwed if the bike doesnt come out.

Have to say as much as I love O/B if I were in the market for new bike this year it would definitely be a "Kryptonite". Can't wait to see these when they finally arrive.

Awesome Color.. Green is my favorite color even though my HD Bikes have been Red and Slate/Black so far.
If they ever bring an Ultra Road Glide out in this color I will have to get one.

The Tour Pack looks fantastic. I also ordered a [chopped] Tour Pack, which should arrive very soon. I also have a heated Corbin Dual with emerald green wildfire stitching on the way. Getting very excited for my Krypto. Delivery date is now apparently March 12th. Can't wait to see the first delivered Krypto pics posted.

If the Kryptonite Green is like the Dragonfly green then you are in for a real treat when you get it in the sunshine. My wife has a softail deluxe that is dragonfly green and it is awesome. Pictures can not do it justice.

One of the bikes I just traded in was a Dragonfly Green/Black Softail Deluxe......a rideable show bike. It was/is an amazing color but, take it from me, as I saw, sat on and drooled all over the 2 Kryptonite bikes at the summer dealer show............the Kryptonite Green is heads and tails different than the Dragonfly. You can't even compare them, they are two totally different colors!

I just talked to Orlando HD and they are saying the Krypto is not going to come. I questioned them why and they said it was a paint issue. I still believe they are coming though.

First of all if that was true then where did HD Kids "KRYPTONITE" Tour Pack come from?......Your dealer just wants to sell you a bike they can get. THEY CAN'T GET ANY KRYPTOS, so they are telling you that. It's BS! I have a February 7th ship date on mine and I saw my name consigned to it on the HD Website that the dealers use. They showed it to me. BTW, the dealer show is in Orlando in 2 weeks. Go stand outside and ask some of the HD people about it while they are going in. When you find out that your dealer lied to you, go do business with another dealer who is honest with their customers! Orlando is a big dealership, they "should" know better. Hey, then again......I was at the Javits Center last weekend and a "dealer" salesman from a NY HD Dealer was showing someone a CVO Streetglide and misquoting everything about the bike. He was wrong about the # of colors, the # of units being made, everything. Most HD customers know more about what is going on than the dealers.

I hate to bust your bubble, but that doesn't mean anything until you actually get a VIN. I've seen those lists change routinely on delivery dates and even canceling an order. Basically, until you get a VIN, you got nothing but your name on a line.

Talked with two dealers here in NEPA they both said the same, they will not take any orders for them.I think they will come ,they sent the tour pac out because they know that they will start shipping in february.Just a lot of BS going around. They would not cancel a hot seller.

I think we have all been assuming it was the paint of the tins that was the problem, did nobody ever think that it might be the the color of the engine that might be holding it up, we have had so many instances in the last couple of years with engine color peeling off as well a tins paint issues, now the New Black line is also in production so it makes sense in a way that they produce all black engines in the same time period?

They get a posting thru the harley dealer web site when a bike ships. They also get a Vin # for that bike assigned to the person who bought it. All info per the finance and sales guys

Like Wayne posted,if you did the paperwork you should have a vin#.The problem with the green started at sturgs.The paint started to fade and soften up.they sent the bikes back to York brfore the ralley was over.they have been trying to find the answer and about a month ago they thought they had it sloved. So Feb and March shipping dates.Dont ask but after this BS is all over you will know also.

The sales guy called me Saturday. Said hey wanted to let you know your kryptonite bike shipped. Wanted to let you know so you could get your ducks in a row. He said he would call me on Monday with my vin number and my loan approval. So I'll keep you guys posted when I find out something. It sucks now cause we are supposed to get some crazy ice storm with an inch of ice. I hope it doesn't slow anything up.

They must have sent it back VERY late in the rally, cause I was sitting on the green one Thursday afternoon. Looked the bike over from every angle and took lots of pictures, I did not notice any issues with the paint. Some of these stories are just plain odd.

My post was not directed at "you".....it was just a venting related to the dealers and the BS that they tell their customers. I'm glad that you are from Texas and don't have to deal with a dealership that is fabricating stories. I think we should "all" just stop the nonsence and wait a week when the Kryptos start arriving. Mine ships a week from today and since I am on Long Island and the bike ships from York.........that means that it should arrive 5 hours after it ships

One of the dealers at the IX show this weekend indicated that they wouldn't order a Krypto unless they had a deposit due to demand uncertainty, said there wasn't any trouble getting them just didn't want to risk it on that color.

That is GREAT NEWS!!!!!! I think you are the first one! Congrats and "I" am really happy for you (and US). NOW, we can put all the BS that everyone is talking about to rest. All I can say to everyone is: remember the crap that your dealers have told you. If what they told you turns out not to be true, shop somewhere else. The propagation of lies and deceit from someone who you want to give $32,500.00 + to, is unconscionable, in my book. I buy my bikes and stuff from a dealer who cares about me and values my business. I have 5 dealers closer to me and I love driving by them on my way to "my dealer"!

Might be the first. We are getting one crazy ice and snow storm here in st Louis mo starting today. I asked the sales guy when they would expect it and he said with this weather who knows. We are getting an inch of ice followed by 3-4 inches of sleet, followed by 6-12 inches of snow. Perfect riding weather!

We have all been very patient and have hung in there......waiting for what we wanted. Mine will hopefully come next week but, with this weather, who cares. All I care about is that the wait is almost over and I am glad that I waited!

Are the Ducati Diavel bikes available or is there a problem getting them, what is the price range?
I was toying with the idea of getting one after I get my Krypto.

Not to hijack but, I too am interested in A Ducati Diavel. I looked at them at the Javits Motorcycle Show. They are due in about March 1st and look really nice. It is really the first Ducati that I think I am lusting after. I want my Krypto first, then maybe the Diavel. My great luck.......my Harley Dealer just became a Ducati dealer too.

SO, I can get both bikes from the best dealer around, New Roc HD in New Rochelle NY!

The Diavels are only available on special orders. I'm sure they'll be some on the show room. There should be some trickling in by now. The bike at the IMS show was starting at $16.9k. If you want the Carbon pieces, it steps up another $4k or so. I may pass up the Diavel for now. I'm sure I'll be pretty busy playing with Kryptonite soon.

Based on my post, from my dealer, they are now 2 weeks behind so, who knows. With the weather here, who cares. As long as I know it is coming, I don't care when it arrives!

I am so excited to hear that someone is getting theirs this week! I am near St. Louis and am also dreading the weather of the next couple of days, but this sure brightens the day! Mine is ordered and I was told not to expect it til April, but this may mean that I can get mine quicker also!

Excited for those pictures to show up. The tour pak looks amazing!

Seriously, congrats on your new ride...let's see some real pics not the photoshop one. I never said you weren't going to get your bike, I just said that nothing is certain with the MoCo and their delivery of a bike until you get the VIN. Glad to see you got it.
