Ventilator cover
« on: July 26, 2012, 11:58:49 PM »

Is there an adjustment on the ventilator cover for it to align level? Looking at the bike from the right side the ventilator cover is angled downward, it's not level straight, unlike other TC air cleaners loosening center screw allows you to align cover, I'm not finding the ventilator doing the same.

Thanks in advance

Due to the oval shape of the backplate, filter, and cover, there is no real adjustment to the angle.  Look at the attached drawing and you'll see that the backplate angle is determined by the breather bolts that screw into the heads.  Then the filter only fits one way to the backing plate, and of course the cover has to follow that same angle to fit properly to the filter.  It's not like the old round SE filters and football covers, where you could align the cover independently of the other parts.
