Added nostalgic saddlebag guards. I’ve always liked the look.

Well yesterday rode about 200 miles. Took a nice ride to Everglades City to have breakfast at a little mom and pop place called Island Cafe. Food was good I've been there before. The ride was great. We have had a ton of rain here recently in south Florida so canal and lake water levels are way up. It's very cool riding the Tamiami Trail and seeing all the gators swimming along in the canal next to the rode.

Coming home I rode through 2 hard showers (it's summer in Florida rains every day) that lasted about 5 minutes each. Yeah I got soaked both times but it's so hot here by the time I got home I was totally dry.

Riding to Naples with some buds today for lunch.

I found them on Facebook marketplace. Gently used. Got them for $50. Cavalry customs has them for $140 for my year.

You ride the Pan-AM ?

Took an early morning ride and was pleased to see $4.89 a gallon hi-test gas, by the interstate too. Only took $27.24 to fill up. A cool wave has hit southern SC too :drink:

Flipped the front end of my shift linkage to the inside to get it more straight and so it doesn't seem to bind. A guy on the Shark forum had issues when He went to an aftermarket linkage until He changed His around. A couple minutes work to see if it makes a difference on the clunky shifting.

I've checked it sitting on the stand. It goes through all 6 without hitting.

When I put the SE linkage on the new bike I noticed the bind so moved the front joint to the inside, like you did. I rode about 150 miles yesterday with absolutely no issues.

I installed large Diameter Saddle Bag Guards from Bad Boyz Cyclez.
Same diameter as the Chopped engine Guard. Looks good.
