I realize there is a great deal of skill involved in these videos but most of it looks insane to me!

I am not absolutely positive, but my gut tells me that you cannot pull the front wheel off the ground at 200 MPH without a major catastrophe. Ground effects would flip you right over, and getting off at 200 mph or greater has to leave a mark.

One of our local talents ,Bob Moreland has two certified runs at Bonneville on a Hyabusa in excess of 220 mph. While his passion is building twin engine air cooled V-twin liners, he bought and modified a Hyabusa to acquire his 200 plus license from the folks who regulate Bonneville. He said the hardest thing was keeping his head tucked against his body as it felt like the wind blast was gonna rip his head off. Bobby built the motor in my 95 Road King which never failed to cause saucer eyes in those who thought I was just a COBB on a bagger.

Big B,

You might be a COBB, with Cobbitis, but are you a member of COBB?

I thought the white stripes would have one by faster at 200   ...   never been that fast thou

I was thinking the same thing, but who knows, hard to tell in a video.

Neat to watch, but I am fine as a spectator.
I have a good buddy who rode like that on his Bussa.  He recently purchased an Ultar Classic and slowed down a bit on the Bussa.
I asked him how a guy that likes to go mach 5 with his hair on fire would be satisfied with a big Harley.  He handed me an envelope with graphic pictures and proceeded to tell me a story.
After analyzing the crash site (pictures).  Investigators surmised the biker was doing 180 MPH when he lost control.  Although he appeared to be wearing the best gear.... Well it dosen't help at those speeds.  I will not go into details, but I have never seen such a horrific sight and will never forget it.
Although I still ride fast, I am more vigalant than ever about where I am.  One place I never will be is on a back at 100+.

It did look way too slow compared to what the speedo showed. Maybe he never adjusted the speedo after changing the gearing?...

The one above and this

Good reasons for the mandatory jail time in our area.

As much as a hazard to the rest of the people on the road.

Ever have some a-hole come up behind you at twice the limit or more? Not a pleasant feeling if you don't see it coming.
