Great idea to do this map. Interesting how many ended up in Germany, too.
BTW - my in laws live in & around McKinney. Lived in Arlington for 19 years before moving to the Swampy Jungle state.
Greetings from McKinney.
It is interesting to see the number of bikes in Germany. My guess is there are more there and elsewhere outside of the states. Given there are only 999 and several of those are overseas, the chances of running into another of these while out riding is pretty slim.....
I really bought mine on a whim. I was at the dealership picking up my '06 Screamin' Eagle V-Rod that was having some routine maintenance, and just stumbled onto the bike. I thought I was going to have some serious buyers remorse after shelling out the $$$ for that thing, but that hasn't been the case. I have been having more fun on this bike then I have had on a bike in a long time....
Thanks for adding to the map!
Why post an unsold bike to the map?
cheers
Greetings from Florida back atcha! The inlaws actually live in the Chambersville area as well as McKinney. Area has really grown.i seen # 001 of 999 at heritage harley davidson in chicago , the owner was awarded it for being the top HD dealer in the country, AKA the bar and shield award
Bought mine on a whim as well. My 07 SEULTRA crapped out (was on the road to a rally & thought it was a scissored crank but eventually turned out to be a bad compensator which broke the primary chain, dealer gave me a free tow 100 miles from home) & I was at the dealer the next day to see when the bike would be ready & figuring on weeks of back & forth about the motor when I saw the 2010. Did not plan to buy another bike until about 2013 but the GM made me an offer I couldn't refuse & I am MUCH happier on this bike than the 07. Rides a lot better & much more control in the twisties.
Maybe we will hear from some other countries - there have to be some others. Great to see all these bikes in Germany. Would love to ride there some day.
Also interested to see if "999" shows up here. First one is in Milwaukee at HD?

He said he was going to keep it and enjoy it , he also got one to sell as well forgot what # he said it was. My guess is that he was only one to get 2 of the most wanted bikes in Harley history. He also said if you have one of these bikes hang onto it value will never go down only up, I asked how much. He laughed and said you'll see :2vrolijk_21:
Lol. I knew you'd catch that :pineapple: :cucumber:
Thought it would be interesting to see a Google Map showing where all 999 of the 2010 CVO Ultra Classics in Crimson Mist Black ended up. So, we'll give it a go.....
Add yours to the map! Add a picture of your serial number or a video of you and your bike!

This is 451 in Deltona Florida just about finished.
hey Doode , thanks alot for doing the map and adding us all. Its very intersting to see where our" family" resides !! I'd like to see a rally of some sort for the "999 family" some day-I think we could do it !! anybody intersted-I think I'll star a thread---lifes to short !
Let's do it in Arizona or Colorado :2vrolijk_21:

You can add #830 in Richfield WI.
Interesting.
Not a scientific observation - but a loose general indicator that maybe 5% or so of CVO owners are members here. Too lazy to do the actual math.
Map was/is a good idea. :2vrolijk_21:
Thanks. I was hoping that a few more of the Crimson Mist CVO Ultra Owners would find there way to the board and this map. I do think it's interesting to see where these things end up. Also wonder if out of the 999 any of them have bit the dust yet.......I am sure it's just a matter of time.
#377 is in Helena, Montana. Can not seem to get it on the map. Can you add it. Would like to see a gathering of the family. Thanks
Anyone know of any of these that have bitten the dust. Aside from #881 above? I have yet to see one on the road......if you look at the map, surprisingly a lot of them seem to have ended up in Europe. Also saw one on eBay the other day. Have forgotten the number.............
Anybody looking to trade or know of one sitting at a dealer or for sale?

Saw one yesterday for sale at Killer Creek H-D in Alpharetta, GA., didn't note the number though. It looked good, all blacked out, had about 10K on the clock. There was another one there too that belongs to a riders law attorney in Atlanta that exhibits at local MC events.
The most wanted bikes in Harley History were sold in 2004!!!!! Fact!!!! Most were sold out before the dealer meeting had ended!!!!!

THE DAWG
Just curious. . . What's the dealer's asking price?
IIRC, it was $28K that day on their anniversary sale, regular price was $29K
Or look better :orange:
