You maybe right, although it does have a different model number. Do you think they sent me the wrong model? Take a look at: http://www.corbin.com/harley/baggers/cvos.shtml

Sorry MJ, didn't mean to imply that it was in any way "wrong."  It's just that Corbin never had a seat whose nose specifically matched the dash on our bikes for the Electra Glides when the SEEGs came out.  They'll almost certainly work up other options now that the Street Glide is bearing similar dash hardware.  But the dual tour has been the only thing they had specifically designed around our dashes.

To get something that fit and looked good, therefore, the Road King variants of their seats was the best option.  Sometimes they seemed to have looked better fitting around the nose of the seat than others.  Yours (to me) happens to look really good.  I was just wondering if that was still a Road King model or if they had some of their other seat models made for the Street Glide already that might also match up to our bikes.  It looks like a Road King model.  It also really looks good.

Looks great Mark! [smiley=xyxthumbs.gif] I have entertained the idea of getting one with a backrest in Grey Faux- Ostrich. Maybe this spring. ::)

Yes, a Road King seat will fit a SEEG.

MJZ:
I have the exact same seat on order with optional backrest.
The great thing about Corbin is they will modify the seat exactly to your measurements at no additional charge. I had the move the bacl of the seat just a 1/2'' and also bolster the backrest pad the same.
Hey,1/2 " can't hurt!
When I go far, I'm a little nervous how the Tour Pack is going to look hanging off the back of the bare fender. I'd ask you to send me a shot but I'm guessing that's a bad subject at this time for you.
Looks dynamite. Nice going on that.

By the shape of the seat's nose that's the model for the Road King?
I believe that's the correct SVO model. The way their website shows the seat it appears to be correct. I did ask Corbin if the Road King seat would be a better choice and they were emphatic that the SVO seat sits as good as the Road King and mates up to the tank without having to use the Harley filler piece. It's worth the few minutes to view the SVO options at Corbin.com.

Hey Harleybill, I've been wondering the same thing. I will put it on (all 3 peices) this weekend and take a few pix and post them for you. I really only use the tour pack for long trips so I figured I would probably switch back to the stock seat when I put the tour pack on. To switch them takes about 10 minutes.

Great concept of changing backto the stock seat when riding 2 up or on trips with the tour pak, but it just ain't going to happen.  At least for not long.  I ride a Corbin Stinger and have for the past 12k.  Last weekend, I switched back to the stock seat so I could take my daughter for a ride on this bike.  26 miles into the journey I had such pain in my butt, hips and legs that we cut it short and switched the outing to my wife's Deluxe.  That seat is going to spoil you.  (Actually, I think it's a Corbin conspiracy so you'll buy a Deluxe Touring for the other occassions.) ;)
