Decided to clean up the engine a little. After installing the chrome hardware and starter the detail remained to be done. I had the upper and lower exhaust mount brackets chromed, covered the wiring from the battery to the starter post with chrome wrap, and replaced the ugly black hose at the end of the chrome oil line with a braided line.
On the left side, I replaced the spark plug wires with blue higher grade wires that are almost an exact match to the cobalt blue and painted the shift rod for some interest. I also have a painted upper engine mount, horn mount and horn cover, all cobalt blue but haven
