Not too thrilled with the Harley script on my CVO Road Glide. Wanted to order the eagle head emblem but was told (by parts guy) they are restricted, problem is he never even looked them up. I could swear people on this site have ordered them without any issue. Thoughts?

I'm interested in a set of those emblems as well.
Patiently awaiting a response from someone who has purchased these.
Thanks!

They appear on EBay occasionally.

stay away from those guys selling them on ebay, they are way overcharging. the parts fiche does not show these as restricted items. the part number for the left medallion is 62780-11, while the right is 62781-11. both will run $79.07 each. so $158.14 for the pair. probably less than that if you go with a discounter. I just pulled them up on Newcastle's web site. not showing restricted, $67.21 each.

x2 on what skratch said. I put them on the '11 I had and am thinking of doing them on my '15.

These emblems would cover the script completely?

You have to first remove the medallion that comes stock, then you apply the new one. They are stick-on nameplates.

I think he was talking about the ones that are painted on.

I assumed we were talking about a 2015 CVO Road Glide. According to the parts manual, those are medallions, not decals or paint. Or am I missing something? If he's asking if they would cover the script on a 2015 CVO Street Glide (the three colors that don't have the eagle head medallion), then I rather doubt it would cover those. From the photo's, it doesn't look like the medallion is the same curvature as the embedded decals.

Ok no worries. I didn't see anything about which model from cablesux post.

Sorry guys, my bad. I was asking about the 2015 CVO Street Glide.

Those look much nicer than the cheap medallion that recently fell off my 2015. Still need to get over to dealer and have it replaced.
